PARKS & RECREATION DEPARTMENT
 
The Village of North Syracuse Parks & Recreation Department strives to provide quality recreational, educational and social programming for residents of all ages.

The department oversees 9 parks and a community center, making it one of the most extensive park systems for a village it's size in the northeast. Each park displays its' own individuality while still showcasing the area's beauty.

  Heritage Park - Chestnut Street

  Swimming Pool, Picnic, Pavilion Facilities, Playground and Volleyball Court
  Toll Road Park - Route 11 across from Big Dip
  Extensive outdoor historical museum, Playground, Softball Field
  Lonergan Park - South Main Street
  State-of-the-Art little league field, Large Gazebo, and 2 Playground areas
  Sleeth Park - accessed behind Meals On Wheels on Church St. or from Sleeth Mill
  Heavily wooded Nature Preserve with Walking Trails
  Memorial Park - Corners of South Bay Road and Church Street
  Picturesque sitting areas, historical signs
  Goettel Park - Rt. 11 across from Kwik Kopy
  Picturesque sitting areas
  North Syracuse Community Center - 700 South Bay Rd.
  Weekly Senior Citizen meetings, 1 Large meeting room with kitchen facilities, 1 large meeting room with hardwood floors, 1 meeting room for smaller sized gatherings, location of Village Court and Village Board Meetings
  Veterans Memorial Park - Corner Rt. 11 & Centerville Place
